Day 7: 30 days wild

Wow a week in already, that's gone so quick. And what a great way to celebrate with a trip to the beach. Spent a lovely day at Southsea, and found myself surprised at how little nature there appeared to be as we strolled along the seafront.

Got to appreciate the sound of the crashing waves and the fantastic view. It wasn't until later in the day we managed to sport some of the locals.

A gull flying overhead.

The large and magnificent crows. These I find to be beautiful birds.

Then a wander round to the castle and D-day museum where we stopped to appreciate a lovely Lilly pond.

Then as we continued round we stopped for a rest on a bench near a beautiful tree full of sparrows chirping happily, such a beautiful sound and the most unusual shaped tree.

If you look closely you may just see the sparrow. They were very hard to photograph as they blended in so well in the branches.

After a lovely day we had a long trip home, so on route I enjoyed the scenery and did a spot of cloud spotting, seeing what shapes they looked like. Unfortunately my phone died so was unable to get some pictures, but I made out a fish, turtle, dragon, man with a jet pack, and seals to name a few. This is something I've always found fun.

Now to look forward to another week of nature, hoping to visit somewhere new. What will you do?
