Another day of glorious sunshine, today we explored nanas very wild garden. By very wild I mean grass needs cutting and bushes are overgrown lol.
The first thing I noticed as I sat in the sunshine were the bumble bees.
Managed to snap a picture of this little fella buzzing away.
Then went on to spot what I believe are honey bees in another plant. There were loads of them but only just managed to snap a picture as the busied away.
Whilst I sat in the garden, baby enjoying her bottle had a very surprise little visitor come and briefly sit with us. A beautiful Damselfly
We believe these are attracted by the neighbours pond. Also managed to catch a glimpse of a butterfly as it fluttered by.
We all enjoyed some lunch sitting in the garden listening to the different bird songs in the trees around us. Managed to recognise the call of a dove and spotted a starling singing away.
To complete our day me and bubba experienced the grass between our toes, a lovely sensory experience that stop a crying baby in her tracks and calmed instantly.
So had a fantastic wild day today in the sunshine and even fully experiencing the sun with sunburnt shoulders (whoops, need to remember to protect myself).
Not sure tomorrow will bring much as baby group in the morning followed by a shopping trip, so will be looking for a small act of wilderness tomorrow.
